I got some stuff in the mail.

Hi there,

So a lot of things that i have order in Dec are starting to come on in from China and Japan. So the first box to come in was one from China the company is E2046 they sell resin kits of all sort the one that i fell for this time was a Robotech SD mech and also some clips to hold all the parts. I took some more expensive clips was about 20-30kr more for me so i feel it was for the better.

The next box to come in the mail one day later was a bit bigger box from Hobby Link Japan now that is a online store that will more or less kill your wallet that have so many things there. I have said to my self now that i need to build and paint all the stuff i get now before i can order any more. I don´t want to have a big backlog that is just a pain in the ass. Any ho, the kit that im looking the most forword to build and paint is the Crab Pod this is just a random kit that has no manga or anime to it. It is just a crab industry looking mech and i love it. I plan on doing some sort of space rock diorama whit it but im still working on how it will look. I will try the paint scheme on my NZ-666 Repair.

I also got some other mechs in there the next box i get from HLJ will be gundam lots of them to!! that is way i have a order stop now. I have plenty of kits to work on this year out and im looking forword to it as well. I plan on trying to have some sort of display in the end of the year so my goal is to get at least 15-20 kits done by then. I know that is a lot but you need to aim high some times. 

My plan here was to do a fast build just to build up some motivation. when my wife came home she said" You are an idiot if you dont paint this model, you have some many cool colours and you can pull that off" My reaction was "wtf?!?!" so now i have to paint it what was going to take me some houser is not going to take me some weeks to do haha.

And the last box to come in is from a store on Aliexpress.com i have been looking for this mech AXG-04 i have it as a backorder over at HLP but they dont know when it will be back in stock. So i feelt i can try out knock of company that made it. I think i will do a custom paint job on it but still not 100% sure i like the red. but im not that good at painting red and i will have to many mechs in red and i don´t like that.

they sure like there bubble rap.

The box was all mest up but that is what you get from China but the in side was fine. This is also a kit im looking foreword to work on. 

Well that is all for now as you can see i have a butt load of stuff to work on now. I feel super motivated to paint this up and it will also be nice to take a break from the table top models i will still paint some but not as many. It is a lot more fun to work on bigger things it also gives me more room to work on my airbrush skills that i need to lvl up.

Mini project

Hi,

I came home from work and was on cleaning mode and im not a big fan of saving old boxes of stuff. But i like the cover art of it so i did some cutting and tweeking. This way i can keep the best part of the box and also have some nice art up on the wall to look at. The side of the box works well as a fun post card.

This is what you need to do this.

• A Frame
• Scissors 
• Box knife
• Cutting board
• Ruler

New turn in the hobby.

Hi,

I have been wanting to do this for a long time but newer taken the step in to that sort of hobby, building mechs or as they can it gunpla. I have had a long deep love for mechs form when i was a kid i grew up looking at Macross,Gundam and many more mech/cyberpunk anime. But i have never build any of there models that they have over there in Japan. about 2 years ago i got a gift from a friend of my and it was a gundem HG model but i never build it it was in the shelf as backlog and i was saying one day when i have the time i will build this dude.

well it is about time to build the damn thing now, and i have also made a big order on some new kits that will come in a week or so. the reason why i want to start to build this sort of kits is 1) mechs 2) they give me more room to work whit the airbrush.

And that is what i want for next year to LvL up my airbrush skills id also like to spred the word that you dont just have to build tanks and air planes there are other cool things to build as well. I work a lot to so i dont have the same time to play tabeltop as i just to.

I am looking foreword to dive in to this new world, i have been looking a lot on youtube and blogs. they paint and do a lot of things im not just to so it is fun to learn new things. I will not paint my irst kit i will just build it and that is just so that i can get a feel for how it feels and how to think.

Got some games and my Cards.

Ello,

Last week i was in Gothenborg to visit my brother and his son that turned 3 years old. It was fun to get a game in there on the floor he did not have a good table to play on hope that he will fix that for the next time i go over there.

I also got a chans to go by GW GbG and speak a bit there it was a lot of fun, and the store mangers was so nice. I also got my cards for the tyranids i have a hard time to keep all the stuff in my head atm and im thinking in Warmachine ruls haha. When i got home i did what all cards need to do, i laminerad (dont know what it is called in Eng) now my cards will never break or get dirty. 

Now i need to take a small break from 40k and paint up the last models for my hordes army im of soon for a tournament.

New stuff and Wip

Howdy ppl,

so this has been a fun week for me tho i have not gotten the amount of painting done that id like to but non the less im happy. Last week end a good buddy of my and his wife came by for some coffee and he brhothe his compressor that has been out in the garage for a long time just collecting dust, it´s a small 3L tank in it max 10Bar so it is perfect for the work that i do. And i also got a small present from him that was so random!! A dark elf dragon i don´t play them but the model it self is awesome so when the DW commission is done i will paint that bad boy up.

Yesterday i spent the day getting to know the new compressor, i have done some priming under the week but no paint jobs, so i took the time to try it out on some of my models don´t want to mess up some one else models. And i can get the control that i was looking for so that was a good thing for me. I also gave the oil wash Technic a go i still need to fine tune it a bit more but for the first time i was happy, i want to give the DW terminators the oil as it gives a lot more life then the acrylic was and i also like the fact that i can go back and edit if im not happy how it looks.

so all in all it was a good day for me, to day i will try and get the chaplin all done or at lest 80% done then i can do the rest on Monday.

Hello World!!!

Hello world!!!

Id start of by saying sorry for the big lack of post from my side. And i will now take the time to talk a bit about what has been going on in my life and why i have not been doing any sort for painting or commission work.

at the start of this year i feel in to a big depression that just grow on me and after some time i lot control over it and my life just fell apart i was at the doctor and they wanted to give me some anti-depressive meds. but i said no cuz i have friends that was going on it and had gone on them and they got better but they lost the spark for life every day was just a strait line and they did not feel sad nor did they get super happy about things they just where. and i feel´t that that was not the way for me so i said by to stockholm that had been my home for more the 5 years and moved up in sweden to a place called Dalarna. Is´s a smaller city and a lot of woods here i came at peace whit my self i got my old job back this summer and have been working there sens juli and i like it, it´s a old place home where i take care of old ppl.

I got a lot of time to reflect over my life next year i will turn 30 and im looking foreword to that tbh i hvae come to the conclusion that doing commission work will not get me where id like to be in life, i want to have my own kids and get a house and i will not be able to get all that by doing commissions not here in sweden any way, and it is really heard to find good ppl to work whit as we are over  the country and no one wants to move.


time went by i had a lot of problems whit my own family that is not resolved thx a lot for that, there are just some small things that are left to fix but in time it will get better.

there has been a lot of things on my mind another thing that got me down a lot and i meen a lot was that the community over here relly beat me down a lot when i was posting things on forums just cuz i have my own way of doing things and also the AB had not hit the market in the same way as in the US. So i have been doing AB jobs now for a bit over a year and have gotten good at it i still have a lot more to learn and im happy to.

but all the feedback that i got for the most part was just mean and being sad just made me sader so in the end of jun i said to my self i will send back this commission that im working on and i wll not paint any thing more for a while. and i have been coming back to it in small steps and i feel that now, now im back to rock some models.

I will be working on my skorne and also a big skaven army, my goal now for 2013 is to be a army painter that ppl out in the world will know. I know that im a ok painter and that i have what it takes to be one of the top painters. a big insperation for me is kenny from next level painting that dude rocks :D


and here are some things that i have been working as of now, a lot more to come next year.

So i will end this massive wall of text by saying happy new year and thx for taking the time to read this post.


and also like to give my wife a huge huge and love for all the support that she has given me, whit out here id be dead by now.

As some of you know i have been working on my own skorne army and they have been a lot of fun, i have also taken a lot of time from painting to play the game a lot more. Yes im do enjoy playing the games a lot but not as much as painting that is the best part of the hobby.

But back to the point now, I also stared my ultramarins but when i was to paint them my blue colour was all dry and dead so i had to get some new colours and now that i have been in the capital i went bananas at the gameing store that i buy my things. The brand that i like the most is P3 then work well in the airbrush and a also like them when working whit the brush.

there is only two places now where i can find them, so when i go out i get a lot of colour at ones so that i don´t need to worry that i will sit there and have no more colour. so the marines are back on track now it will be fun to get them done at last.

more then that i don´t have any new things to say atm im am working on getting some new things to paint but will se what happens to that first.

Well you my ask your self what is the muffin working on now then?? well im still working on some cryx models for my self and also the skorne army that im building up now. I will go out and pick up the rest of the army tomoz so im all pumpt on that oboy oboy is it going to be fun to have new toys :D

And im also working on some Nercrons and a FoW model what FoW model it is i will not tell now this will be a small surpris when it comes out. The necrons was part of my golden demon this year but i did not have the money to go over to england and be there. So the plan now is to paint all my models that i was going to take there and some more i have one year to do it.

and it will also be nice to work on things for a long time not like the armys that i paint in a short amount of time. but the necrons yes well they are models that are awsome i must say and i think i will sell this when they are done. I doing them in the GW colours but in my own way they are still Wip so there is a lot of work to be done on them.

And in other new´s I found this models to day and i just feel in love whit em at ones. The undead army and the small dudes that liv in the forest are the best. Have a look at the game and models i think this can be a fun game, but i will get some minis just to paint them i think.

Skorne Project is a go.

Well now that my Cryx army is soon done after about a year on ice (had a lot of commission back then) i only have about 7 models left to paint, and i have been thinking a long time that id like to have a alt army but i don´t know what. The biff was do i play Khador or Skorne i like them a lot but there is a thing about big things that have tusks and walks slow, but when they are at the target they will just crap over you.

and now whit the new uber big models coming out from PP and the Skorne was just to good to pass out on. So that made it so easy for me to pick the army, and lucky as i am some times i found a second hand army for a ok prices. And when i was in sthlm last week i got some extra models just to fluff it out a bit more.

and this is how they look so far, i still don´t know how i will paint them but they will for sure have fun colours ^^

here is a small post on what i have on the table atm, there are a lot of models from different game systems. the most inportent one to get done ASAP is the brood lord that guy is a bit late now. but i have the day of tomorrow and the weekend so i think i can make it in time.

i will start to put some paint on him to day, after i have done some fun things here at home (clean the apartment and hobby room T_T). I think it is a fun mix of models that i have to work on now.

the ones that are going to be the most fun are the painting competison ones that i will try and go banans on, i alos have plans to give a more advance way of doing blends/glaz.

and there you have it, a small post on what to come soon. will post some WIP images on the boord lord when i have it.

WOW i did it!!!

I did it at last !!! i got my self 20ppl to the blog now my main goal for the year is done time to bump it up a lvl. Now to get my self 35 to follow me will be some work but i think that i can make it now!!!

And on other new i have some things to come out this week and the next, the first is the tyranid that im working on. the swarmlord is now about 90% done there are some small things to fix on him and pimp the base up and he is done.

I have also a lot of new warmachine models to showcase they are part of my own army that i had in finland. I will also do a big post on the tournament that i was on over in findland last week, that shit was of the hook for sure man !!!

a lot of good stuff to come in other words and a lot of photo work for me how fun, going to have to rigg up the studio.

well that is a small posts on what is to come.

been a bit sick.

last week was not awsome for me at all, i was sick as hell but now im doing a lot better just some stress problems whit my stomach that makes it hurt like it is now ones business, crazy body.

But things that i have done on my down time is, gotten the last tau done images on them are to come soon. I have also done the last troop test tyranid, it was a lot of fun to paint that flappy and i gave the wings on it a new twist. Think that it will stand out a lot when you have 10+ of t hem side by side images are coming tomoz.

I was going to post some WIP images on the two jacks im working on but i forgot all about it to day as i got in the flow and work on pretty good on them, now i just need to lay down the red and then all the colours are on them. after that the fun part starts and that is to make it look like crap but in a good way.

I have also found a proxy model for my cryx army, but i will not say what model it is yet. my plan now is this. ones i have all my commission work done i will sit down 2-3 month and just paint up my cryx army. i have a lot of models and they all need my love i also have some models that i need to convert to brute thralls. for that i will be working whit one of my fav models ever and that is the Island of blood skaven rat oger. it is the size that i need and i finde them to be so cool the only down side is that they have fur. but i will find some way to work on that.

well that is some of the things that i have going for me over here. more fun stuff to come soon so stay tuned for some more fun stuff.

now i will hit the bed and get better, cuz feeling bad or to be sick sux.

New workspace

Hi there,

Under this time i have also gotten a bigger workspace that is just a blast to have. i don't know how long the bored is but it is long as hell!!! i can fit a full army and all my crap at the same time, i still don´t have a system on how to work on it but im working on it as we speak now hehe.

but it is so nice to have a good work area now and that i can have all the things up when im working, it also makes it easy for me to rotate the different projects im working on. i for the most part have tree things that im working on some time more but never over 5 things at ones. that never works and i know that and will never do that mistake ever again

and i have also gotten my new airbrush that is so sweet to work whit, the only problem that i have now is that my kompressor is broken and i need a new one, but soon it is pay day and i know what i will go out and get. i have not just it a lot just cuz that i don´t want to risk any dum ass slipp so that it will break not that will happen. but for now i only run my old ones and they are broken to, so i need a new bad brush to.

but my Iwata Eclips is awsome, it is so nice to work whit it. more on this airbrush to come when i get my new gear.

This made me lol XD..feels like a no brainer but no.
