remaster images of some old work

Hi,

Im trying to get a better hang of takeing better images of my models. And this is what i got in the end i was messing around whit the white balance. I then edit them in Photoshop to give them that final kick and this is what i got.

Skorne - some new images

Howdy ppl,

I feel back to my skorne army now and have been working and playing them a lot now, but i will soon be back on the nidz so hold on to your hats.

I also felt that it was time to take some photos of the models and show them of to all of you, so here they come.

Chaplin - Wip (soon done)

Howdy ppl,

Last knight i work´t on the chaplin a lot and he is soon done just the last peral at the top of the armour and then i need to give him some line highlights and he will be all done so to have him done on Monday looks like a ok goal atm.

I also got some more work in to my skorne lock and he is coming along just fine, i sat down to look at a movie around 20:30 but after 30min´s i just could not sit down i had to paint more so i got back up and put in some H in to the fat man. I got a lot of stuff done on him on that short period of time so i was happy. I think that i put the brush donw at around 00:00-00:30 not sure tbh.

and on monday i will start to work on the unit and if i can hold my time plan they will be done in a week or so, will have to se if i get more work under the week.

but that is a re-cap of what i did yesterday.

New stuff and Wip

Howdy ppl,

so this has been a fun week for me tho i have not gotten the amount of painting done that id like to but non the less im happy. Last week end a good buddy of my and his wife came by for some coffee and he brhothe his compressor that has been out in the garage for a long time just collecting dust, it´s a small 3L tank in it max 10Bar so it is perfect for the work that i do. And i also got a small present from him that was so random!! A dark elf dragon i don´t play them but the model it self is awesome so when the DW commission is done i will paint that bad boy up.

Yesterday i spent the day getting to know the new compressor, i have done some priming under the week but no paint jobs, so i took the time to try it out on some of my models don´t want to mess up some one else models. And i can get the control that i was looking for so that was a good thing for me. I also gave the oil wash Technic a go i still need to fine tune it a bit more but for the first time i was happy, i want to give the DW terminators the oil as it gives a lot more life then the acrylic was and i also like the fact that i can go back and edit if im not happy how it looks.

so all in all it was a good day for me, to day i will try and get the chaplin all done or at lest 80% done then i can do the rest on Monday.

Priming at 2,5 Bar doing it at 4-3 was not that good.

Here im trying out oil for the first time.

The work station is a mess, but the new spray booth is working just fine.

It cold out side and the fat man needs a blanky to keep warm :D

DW - Chaplin Wip

so what have I been up to this last days well a lot tbh, i have been working a bit took care of my sick wife last week and also some painting. and now the chaplin is well on his way and also a lot of fun to paint as this is one of my fav minis from GW. I have gotten all the flats on the model done now so next up is the wash all the different areas of the model.

I under the weekend i also got some time to fix,pin and build some new models that i got this Friday  now all that i need are some some gators and random solos and my army is complete !!!!

And in other fun new´s a good friend of my came by for some coffee and gave me a present and i also got to borrow his compressor that is smaller and also a lot quieter then the one that i have now. so this was super awsome.

DW - Wip

Aloha,

So the work in the Dw army is a go for now, so far i have only build the HQ and one unit of Knights i will put in some magnets on them just to make them boss. I have not had the time this week to put down a lot of work on them. have a sick wife at home and now that i have some days of work i need to take care of her and do all the other things at home haha.

but now i will make some new coffie and them i will start to prime the chaplin and give him some love.
As for my self i have a skorne caster that i will start to work whit to, need to get more models done in that army to so i have a lot of things now on the table.

Hello World!!!

Hello world!!!

Id start of by saying sorry for the big lack of post from my side. And i will now take the time to talk a bit about what has been going on in my life and why i have not been doing any sort for painting or commission work.

at the start of this year i feel in to a big depression that just grow on me and after some time i lot control over it and my life just fell apart i was at the doctor and they wanted to give me some anti-depressive meds. but i said no cuz i have friends that was going on it and had gone on them and they got better but they lost the spark for life every day was just a strait line and they did not feel sad nor did they get super happy about things they just where. and i feel´t that that was not the way for me so i said by to stockholm that had been my home for more the 5 years and moved up in sweden to a place called Dalarna. Is´s a smaller city and a lot of woods here i came at peace whit my self i got my old job back this summer and have been working there sens juli and i like it, it´s a old place home where i take care of old ppl.

I got a lot of time to reflect over my life next year i will turn 30 and im looking foreword to that tbh i hvae come to the conclusion that doing commission work will not get me where id like to be in life, i want to have my own kids and get a house and i will not be able to get all that by doing commissions not here in sweden any way, and it is really heard to find good ppl to work whit as we are over  the country and no one wants to move.


time went by i had a lot of problems whit my own family that is not resolved thx a lot for that, there are just some small things that are left to fix but in time it will get better.

there has been a lot of things on my mind another thing that got me down a lot and i meen a lot was that the community over here relly beat me down a lot when i was posting things on forums just cuz i have my own way of doing things and also the AB had not hit the market in the same way as in the US. So i have been doing AB jobs now for a bit over a year and have gotten good at it i still have a lot more to learn and im happy to.

but all the feedback that i got for the most part was just mean and being sad just made me sader so in the end of jun i said to my self i will send back this commission that im working on and i wll not paint any thing more for a while. and i have been coming back to it in small steps and i feel that now, now im back to rock some models.

I will be working on my skorne and also a big skaven army, my goal now for 2013 is to be a army painter that ppl out in the world will know. I know that im a ok painter and that i have what it takes to be one of the top painters. a big insperation for me is kenny from next level painting that dude rocks :D


and here are some things that i have been working as of now, a lot more to come next year.

So i will end this massive wall of text by saying happy new year and thx for taking the time to read this post.


and also like to give my wife a huge huge and love for all the support that she has given me, whit out here id be dead by now.
