more cryxs done

Howyd ppl,

last week i was of to a big tournament here in Sweden, the biggest so far tbh!!! so this are some things that i got done in a week for that tournament, i got some other stuff done as well but will post more on that later. 

not a lot to say about my army more then that i gave some new colours a shot, and i like what i got. the scrap thall and necrotec where painted in my new Technic where i put in a lot of diffrent colours to them and try to blend them in. i have now found a stylle that fits me and the army a lot. I don´t like the life lest thralls that ppl do in gray or other boring colours. so i will give all my other guys a lot of colour will make more sens when you se them.

Karchev the Terrible - done

Howdy ppl, 

Last week i got this bad boy done, he was not a easy job to get done in some H. there is a lot to paint and he will take a bit ones you start him, but in the end you will be happy. This is one of my fav caster for khador and he is just so bad ass. It was awsome to get the chans to paint him (this was a commission job) think that this will be a caster i will get for my self to my own army that im building slowly slowly now. first i need to get all my main things done be for i start a new army.

Any how here you have the bad guy, i did not do the base i got him like that. the customer did that him self.

And just to put in some random thing, here you have me looking at my to do list. yes i have a to do list now, so that i can plan every day so i can get the most of it. Have three big paint jobs im working on and a smaller one for a store.

Nebra done

Aloha ppl, 

I have been working a lot now on necrons and some other stuff. I have gotten so many jobs now that i have some ppl on hold atm to get there stuff done. and it is fun to se that ppl like the things i do, gives me a big drive now to get better and paint faster so that i can take on more projects. 

Nebra has been done now for some time just that i never got around to do the last things as the  base and rust that she has. and now at last she is done and looking like a boss, her buddy is on the works and i will post him soon.

update - on the table

Howdy ppl, 

Here is a small update on what is on the table.  

 first out is the necrons that im working on now, they have there base colour now. will try and give them some more love later on to day. they will be in lot´s of gold and other metal colours some i know other im still working on.

the orcs have some colour as well now, the green is on and i gave them a grey high light. I have also gotten all the metal on them.   

And the space hulk guy, this have been a bitch to paint. it is the first time for me to do blood angels GW style. And it has taken me some time to get the colours down. but now i have a better hang of it, so i think that the other guys will go a lot faster. He has been fun but not at all a easy model to work on, i have to paint him whit a 00 brush. So it takes a lot of time to get things done on them.  

After a long day of pating (9-18) i get a chans to paint on my own things. and i have been puting down a lot of time now on the DJ AKA carols specie winer . He is not 100% but well over 80% done now, need to fix up the face and the green glow on him. after that i need to give him battel damage and lots of rust. So one more day and we are done. When he is done i will try and get my new caster done 100%, nebra is a boss love her.

Big update - what is on the desk now ???

Howdy ppl,

Well here it is at last, the big update that you have been waiting for now. I have now gone full time as a painter but it is not easy to get jobs to cover the rent. if i don´t mes about whit my time sceduel then i will make 2 dead lines next week and the week after that. but i still dont know, will have to work a lot of over time and the pay in the end is not that big. but what the hell man, i get to paint and do what i love atm so im happy. 

And this is a good way to stress down for me and also to think about my life now, what is it im after? 6 years now in college and i still don´t really know what im working for. well this is no time to get all dark lets look at happy things.

first out: 

Here are the Mercs that i been working for arcanonline.se when i post this then they will be done.

they have been a lot of fun to paint and this are some sick models to, they have so many detail it is crazy. 

this is the space hulk job that im working on, they guy want them in GW blood angel colours. a lot of orange and that is a colour that im not super hot whit yet. this image is dons not give him justice you cant se the shadows on him. but i spent a lot of time to find the colour mix for them. 

And here is a part of a orc army that im working on, what is not in the image. 3 killa kanz, tank buztaz and three HQ´s. this is a job that will be a lot of fun, iv been wanting to paint orcs a long time now. and green is a colour that i can paint now. 

And this is the last commission job that i got, atm im maxt out whit job so if i get any more they have to wait a bit. Any way this is the last job that i got now and it is necrons this is going to be fun to paint. they person wants them in gold. 

And this is a privet project that im working on, the name of it is project x-2. can you guess what it is ??

 and the last thing that im working on is my WM army that needs to be done next month so that i can play in the big 50p tournament. there is a lot of models to paint, if i don't make it in time i will try and block all the models so that they have some colour on them. it´s ok if i don´t win best paint army now.



well there you have it, that is what i have on my desk now, a lot of stuff and yes this is a full time job for me now. that is way i can do so many things at ones so wish me luck i will need it.

new toys

Howdy,

to day i got some new toys in the mail, and also my new proxy models i will ues to the ghost raiders and pistol dudes. The rom and bones models are just so fantastic to look at that i feel that they will be tricky to paint, i want to keep them at the same lvl as on the box.  the captin that has a sword will be a pistol dude and the captin for the ghost raiders so he will be all over the place.

the ghost dudes are a unit that id like to play now for a long time, they look like a lot of fun. but they seam to be a bit tricky to play. but im working on a new list for gEaspy so they will have some fun there.

And on other new at last i got my two witches, so now i can start to play my T4 nebra list. they will come in the mail at the end of the week or next week. Now i have a lot of stuff to play two new casters and lots of unites to boot. 2012 will be a fun gaming year for me i think and WM/H will be the main games for me i can feel it in my body.

Will give 40k a shoot ones more but atm i don´t feel like painting that army now im all about Cryx.

eGaspy speed paint

Howdy yal,

So to day i did some speed pating on my warcaster i play all the time, this weekend im going of to a big tournament and i feel that he need some paint. I have had him half done for a long time now and i feel a shame that i never got around to finish him.

The eye in the staff sux big time i know, and i will come back and re-paint the armor a lot more. now it is green but will make it some other colour when i come back home. next big thing to speed paint is the big and bad DJ. Don´t know if i can make that but u never know. i do have the biger parts done on him.

will start to do some work on him later to night but first i will take a last stand game or two, but here is Gaspy done (sort of done for now)

enjoy will try and post a lot more this year so that i can get some more followers, and plz drop me a line fun to se that ppl look at the blogg.

Bane thralls done

howdy ppl,

At last i have my bane thralls done now, have been working on them a lite bit now and then. but i feelt it is time to get them done now asap as i will be going to a big tournament and it´s nice to have some painted minis on the bord.

Will try and get the big death jack done as well, he is part of all my list atm. dont have that many models yet but im working on that bit as we speak. 

Well this was just a fast post will get more stuff up later and better pics as well.

MERCS jobb - cryx on hold =(

 Howdy ppl,

Well this is a new job that i got my self, was talking to a dude at a local store. and that I was intrastate in playing/pating some mecrs minins. And some weeks later a got a post on FB about pating some models for the store. So this is my first jobb for a store and it feels good to paint some stuff that ppl will get to se and play whit. And i got the faction that i like the most the CCC i also got a copy of the rule book to get me going whit the pating and also to get in to the game.

this is a game i my self have been looking at for some time now, i think that it can work if the get a good game system to it and to have 6 minins for a army is just awsome fast and easy. When i came home i just had to sit down and work whit this guys. They where not easy to build small areas to pin but i gave it some time and now it all where it needs to be. Just need to do some small GS work and then they are done.

Bad news is that i will not make my WM pating mark as this guys need to be done ASAP, and id like to get them done fast to so that the store is not up my ass about it hehe.

 as i was working whit the minin one of the guys had part of the form stuck to him, this is the first time a thing like this has happen to me.

On the desk

Howdy ppl, 

So what is on the desk now, well we have 5bane´s that need some love. this week we will have a tournament at the club. Just a nice friendlily game sort of style of game´s just before hell breaks out and x-mas is all over my face.  the plan is to paint this and a UA, the DJ and Egaspy don´t know if i can make all that in just 5days. but i will give i a go.

The Stalker

Howdy ppl,

to day i will do a post about my stalker that i did a while back. It was a guy that i play against in a tournament that asked me how i have made my stalker and where i got the Ide from. Will the Ide was that i did not like the rolled up crab post on them. In the book you can read that they are fast going bonejacks and that they are all over the place. So i wanted some sort of action pose where they where going for the kill, I did a small Google search over the net to se if some one had the same ide as me. And sure there was some dud that had the same ide as me. And looking at his stalker gave me a big boost to do my own, i like how he gave the stalker a lot of life in the pose as he is soaring through the air.    

So i got to work on my own stalker, it took me some time to build it and i don´t know how many will se the big problem whit my stalker (got it in second hand) but the dude that had it b4 me feelt that it was a good ide to cut of part of the leg. so the left leg is missing a big part haha did not get that for a while and i was so mad that the pieces did not feet. But the i sa it for me self and said "god damn it !!!!" 

Then came the pose for the crab man, i did not want to do the same as on the images above. So i went for the run over a rock to kill the dude on the other side of it. What i did was make a hole for the leg in the cork to then fill it up whit a lot of super glue so that the leg will not break of. Let it dry good over the night and did my priming the day after in Cryx green. And that is how my stalker was born, hope this has been a fun articular on what was going on in my head.

More cryx

howdy ppl,

I have now found my lost motivation to paint ones more, just need to paint up the last DE and then it is all system go for my Warmachine army. As a carrot for my self i have now build up a lot of stuff so that it can look at me and tell me to speed up!!!! the sad thing is that when i was working on my nebra here left arm just broke BOOMM just like that. I did get a tear in my eye and i also got a bit pisst that they snap so easy.

I have sent a mail to PP and ask them for a new arm so i will se what happens, in the mean time i spent the day to day to put in magnet in to my helljacks so that they to are ready to go. Need to paint 50p for next year big tournament going down then. so i need to have them TT++ so that i can win the best painted army. that is my main goal whit the amry to win some games is awsome but i feel that my power is in the paint.

now to show off some WIP´s that will motevait me to paint ones more.

Incogniconturnering 29/10 in Stockholm

howdy ppl,

Here is a bit longer cover of the tournament that was under this weekend, it was a 35p Stemroll 10min a round. And all i can say is that it was fun to meet some new ppl and i also got a new friend there that i got to play. From my part im still a bit mad at my self that I did not do as i liv. Take your time and think over what you are doing, have all the models done what they need to do? well that did not happen from my part, did a lot of small noob mistakes but it´s all my fault hehe. But now im the under dog for next year so it will be fun to se what place i get on the list then. Tho i did beat a not gole of my, if i don´t get first place take last place and be the best at losing. will I sure did that hehe.

Id like to say thx a lot for a super good tournament and all the players that came out, hoppe that next year will be biger and that we hit the 40 player mark or more. I know now for sure that WM/H is the game for me. I sux now but give me a year and I know that i can play up my self to a good level for tournament play think fast hit heard.
